  1. Love! We have a Roomba 890 called Leon, bought a couple of months ago in preparation for operation get puppy… am relieved to see that Clover and Herbie get on ok! Love love love my Roomba, although it's bonkers the logic of where it goes to clean. Some rooms it will just go around and around over and over and over for an hour, others it does a quick zig zag around and then declares it is done. Having missed most of the room. But hey we love him anyway, he never complains when you send him back to do it again. 🙂

  2. I ended up giving mine away because it had a hard time dealing my pet hair… but I have 2 Irish Wolfhounds of 80+ kg each, so that's A LOT of dog hair even when you run it daily. I might try again with one that can empty itself but the prices have to go down before I do… With less pet hair, I think it could do great!

  3. I just bought one last night.. ran it in my room and was amazed how much it picked up. Scheduled to run this morning from the app-just let me know it finished and is now charging. I'm excited to get home and see how much it picked up from the living room and kitchen.. is that weird? LOL

  4. Lol. I'm from Lexington, KY. Here we call our trash receptacles Herby Curby (Herby for short) and our recycling receptacles are Rosie the Recycling Bin (Rosie for short). When people ( not originally from our city) hear me talk about taking the Herbie and Rosie out they stare at me like I'm crazy.

  5. Great video Kay! I have the roomba 5 something series, I think it’s the lowest in the range now, and it’s great to pick up dog hair from my 2 labradors. I need another one for upstairs but they are SO expensive! The one you have is almost $1,000 here in Australia, so I can’t imagine what the new ones you mentioned will cost.

  6. I so appreciate your honest reviews. As much as I love the idea of the Roomba, I am thinking it's actually okay that I don't have one. Much like you before you had Clover I don't need to vacuum daily multiple times. We do live in the country so it's dusty, but nothing a quick vacuuming every other day can't fix. I love the living in the Jetsons idea, So with that my new vacuum is being named Rosie ❤ thanks Kay!

  7. LOVE MY ROOMBA! Love her so much, I named her Roxanne and she's (almost) family. We have 3 cats and I'm amazed at how much fur Roxanne can find in our house. I run her about every other day and it just makes the whole house feel so much cleaner. I think it is the best money I've ever spent. I highly recommend getting one. It's worth every penny!

  8. Thank you for the great review. I have two golden retrievers and understand the dog hair issue!!! My house a few levels, (sunken living room and a second floor)so I am thinking a Roomba would not really work for me. But it looks awesome!

  9. Lovely job…again!! You have done a great review. I can't think of anything you may not have covered. My only question is with regard to stairs (which you have none) – does that "mini tower" help the iRobot not go down stairs? Your humour is so fun – I love it!! Maybe there will be an iRobot in my future – nudge, nudge, hubbie???
